The Mode Theater

Your event will be wonderful at the historic  Mode Theater, limited only by your imagination.  Whether you are planning a wedding, party, celebration, meeting, or just needing a space to practice, film, display, or sell, The Mode is here for you. 

What We Do

The Mode is a rental space that seeks to accomodate your special event.  It is situated between Madison and Milwaukee in downtown Waterloo.  The Mode strives to support artistic efforts, provide  audiences with quality entertainment, and assist individuals or organizations in achieving successful special events.  The Mode can accomodate varied needs and thrives on originality.  No talent is too big or too small to find an audience at The Mode!

What's New?

Currently at The Mode:

• Womens' Aero-dance sessions are being discussed, with interest in beginning again in January. Call for further information.   
• Another series of social dance lessons( fox trot, waltz, swing, and polka) is anticipated to begin in January.  Exact start is unknown at this time.   Five 2-hour lessons.  $100 per couple.   Please call 920-478-3230 for more information and updates.   
• Waterloo Yoga, taught by Eric Cotting, meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays, currently, 6:30-8:00pm.   Eric may be reached at 920-478-2404.
• Contemporary gospel band practices on Sunday afternoons, with doors opening to the public soon!
• In the planning stage:  Friday evening free style dancing.  Search  "Dance Away Santa Barbara" for a look at an established activity  like this. 
• The Mode is anticipating a showing of local artist, Adelade Hebel in conjunction with Waterloo's Sesquicentennial Celebration, September 12th and 13th.
