The Mode Theater

The Mode Theater is proud to announce a limited engagement of an original and loving tribute to the "Romeo an Juliet" of the American Revolution.  Lovers & Patrots: The Love Story of John & Abigail Adams, starring award-winning actors, Lisa Burgess and Gary Anderson, tells one of the most moving love stories in American history.  This is an original script by national playwright Gary Anderson whose research material was drawn from a collection of Adams' family letters and diaries. The Valentines Day Dinner Theatre will feaure American Colonial cuisine with live music of the era. On Feb, 14th, dinner is served at 6:30pm with the show commencing at 7:30pm.  $30 per person.  Please RSVP, also information, at 920-478-3230.

Additional performances are scheduled for Fri and Sat, Feb. 17th and 18th at 7:30pm.  $12 per person. 

What We Do

The Mode is a rental space that seeks to accomodate your special event.  It is situated between Madison and Milwaukee in downtown Waterloo.  The Mode strives to support artistic efforts, provide  audiences with quality entertainment, and assist individuals or organizations in achieving successful special events.  The Mode can accomodate varied needs and thrives on originality.  No talent is too big or too small to find an audience at The Mode!

What's New?

Currently at The Mode:

• Waterloo Yoga, taught by Eric Cotting, meets on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 6:30-8pm., and on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, 6:20-7:30 am.  Eric may be reached at 920-478-2404.   Each session is $5.  No registration is necessary. 

• The Mode hosts ballet and jazz dance lessons for 4-12 year olds on Monday nights.   Leah Paape, instructor, may be reached at 920-478-2404.

• ZUMBA classes are on Saturday mornings,  9-10:00.  A six session series costs $30, and a 10 session  series is $45.  Sessions are ongoing. Wendy Schreiner is the instructor, and may be reached at 920-988-1969. Also, several art pieces of Terry Straavaldsen and Ellen Dudley are on display.  Most are for sale.  Please call for a private viewing time. 

•   Watch the Academy Awards with your friends and experience the famous Red Carpet, all the glitz and glamour  of the evening at The Mode......Feb. 26.  Dress up, enjoy  food and drinks, and bring a little bit of Hollywood home!!!  More informaton at  920-478-3230.
